Hotel Reviews - Abbey House Hotel

Fully Recommended
A warm welcome from the owners was followed by a very comfortable stay in an Exec Double Room. The hotel has been beautifully done up in tasteful decor, and the room was impeccably clean on my arrival.

The bed was very comfortable and WiFi and tv worked without any hitches whatsoever.

Water pressure and temperature in the shower was good.

Breakfast was full English and is not over facing- just the right amount which you can supplement with as much as you like from the breakfast bar.

Cost of £95 for one night is a fair price for the area.

I think the best recommendation is - I’ll be back!

Overnight Stay At Abbey House Hotel
Very nice hotel, friendly and welcoming, we were offered an upgrade and found the room lovely and comfortable. Also given advice on local eateries, with directions. We opted to pay extra for a full English breakfast and a vegetarian cooked breakfast, which were delicious. We would definitely stay there again.

Abbey House Hotel Reading,rg30 2uf
A well maintained hotel, and a warm welcome from the owner/staff?. The beds in our twin room were very comfortable, and the standard of cleanliness of the room and en suite were excellent. Breakfast was freshly cooked to our requirements. We would certainly return when we revisit Reading and highly recommend the Abbey House for your consideration.

The stadium is of a fair size and is totally enclosed, with all four corners being occupied. Three sides are single tiered, whilst on one side the West Stand is two tiered, including a row of executive boxes. The ground has been designed with the supporter in mind as the supporters are very close to the pitch and the acoustics are good. The stadium also now has a recently installed video screen on the South East corner. The Madejski is e asily one of the best stadiums in the Championship Division and wouldn't look out of place in the Premier League. The stadium, named after Reading's multi millionaire chairman, is shared with London Irish Rugby Club and was recently voted as having the best facilities for disabled supporters in the League.
